The Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Khon Kaen University was established as the 16th faculty of the university and is the first of its kind in the northeastern region of Thailand. It holds the 12th position among all faculties in the country, according to the Royal Decree issued on September 13, 1994. The primary objective is to produce graduates with knowledge and skills in fine and applied arts for both public and private sectors. Additionally, it serves as a central hub for education, research, and creative works in contemporary and traditional arts of the northeastern region. The faculty is committed to providing academic services in the field of fine arts to both local and international communities, as well as preserving and advancing the arts and culture of the Isaan region.
